Artist Chelsea Nanfelt Rowe shared her virtual shopping list with us. When Chelsea relocated from Richmond to Little Rock, Arkansas, we could not let the distance keep us from this true gem! Chelsea is a vibrant part of the art jewelry community, and we love watching what she is up to. Whether it is writing an article for Metalsmith Magazine or having a Residency at the Baltimore Jewelry Center, we are excited to hear her perspective on jewelry. Chelsea will be our first exhibiting artist for 2025. While chatting about her upcoming Jewelry Box show, Day By Day, we talked her into sharing some of her favorite pieces from our website.
In her words, here are a few items that speak to Chelsea:
The window in my studio overlooks my backyard, which has made me think a lot about gardening and growth lately. I'm drawn to Amanda Hagerman's Cotton Ridge Pearl Studs, which mimic floral blooms. It's such a fresh take on the classic pearl earring and I'd love to add these keepsakes to my collection.
Everyone needs a pair of hoop earrings in their collection, right? I have my eyes on Liz Clark's Large Hoop Earrings with Flower Accents. These hoops are spectacular, featuring a strong design and delicate details.
This 3 Baguette 14kWG Wedding Ring has a special place in my heart. It reminds me so much of my grandma Adele's ring (hers had two baguette diamonds), where my love for jewelry began. I'd love to pair this with my vintage wedding band and engagement ring.
I'm also starry-eyed for Erica Bello's Sterling Silver Oxidized Crescent Pendant and Perseid Ring. These would certainly be on a heavy rotation in my jewelry collection.
