Holiday Wishlist Round Two!

Ameta Cartwright’s Holiday Picks: A Blend of Sparkle, Sentiment, and History

For Ameta Cartwright, her love of jewelry goes far beyond the sparkle—it’s about the story, the sentiment, and, of course, the timeless beauty each piece holds. We’ve had the pleasure of working with Ameta on custom designs, helping her select treasures from our showcases, and assisting with the care of family heirlooms that continue to be passed down through generations. It's always a joy to catch up with Ameta and hear the stories of her jewelry's latest adventures.

Here are the stunning pieces Ameta has chosen for her holiday wish list:

1. Wide Ribbed Band Ring by Austin Titus

First on Ameta’s list is a striking wide-band ring featuring five rose-cut diamonds by Richmond-based artist, Austin Titus. The design combines a ribbed sterling silver band with 18K gold bezels, each one holding a sparkling rose-cut diamond. The mix of metals and the glow of the diamonds makes this ring perfect for both everyday wear and special occasions. An effortlessly stylish choice.

2. Aqua, Apatite & Diamond Stud Earrings

Next, we have these icy blue Aqua, Apatite, and Diamond stud earrings—an original design from Dransfield Jewelers. These earrings feature 1.20 carats of Aqua, 0.50 carats of Apatite, and 0.16 carats of Diamonds set in 14K white gold. The curated cluster of stones allows each to shine with its own brilliance, creating a stunning composition that catches the light with every turn.

3. Diamond Dangle Bracelet

Ameta’s third choice is a Diamond Dangle Bracelet crafted in 14K yellow gold. This piece features 0.61 carats of Diamonds, each bezel set in 14K white gold. The delicate diamond drops add a refined sense of movement to the bracelet, making it an eye-catching addition to any outfit, whether for a formal event or a casual day out.

4. Chain & Onyx Dangle Earrings by Emily Rogstad

Another standout piece in Ameta’s selection is a pair of Onyx Dangle Earrings by artist Emily Rogstad. These earrings feature beautifully faceted onyx stones, bezel set in oxidized sterling silver, with 14K vermeil chains that sway with every movement. The combination of dark onyx and the warm gold of the chain creates a striking contrast that makes these earrings both bold and elegant.

5. Multi-Colored South Sea Pearls

Last but certainly not least, Ameta has added a classic strand of multi-colored South Sea pearls to her list. Ranging in size from 10 to 12.5mm, these lustrous pearls are strung on a 20-inch strand, finished with a 14K white gold clasp. The soft, iridescent hues of the pearls make them a stunning piece that complements any style, from casual to formal, with timeless sophistication.

Each of these pieces tells a story—one of craftsmanship, design, and the special moments they mark. For Ameta, jewelry isn’t just about adornment; it’s about collecting treasures that reflect the essence of life’s most precious moments.
